On January 13th, we gathered for our monthly BRAVE Communities Connection event, Dream More In 2024! A heartfelt thank you to The Austin Public Library for generously hosting us and providing a space for our community to come together in unity. We collectively celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s lasting legacy of racial justice and social responsibility through therapeutic and calming stations.
❤️ The Meridian World School Choir set the perfect tone for our event with “Lift Every Voice & Sing” and “It’s Time for Change”. A special thanks to The Austin Civilian Conservation Corps for their collaborative effort in the Tree Cookie Decorations & Dream Board Mosaic calming stations.
🌟 Special recognition goes to our Fall 2023 BRAVE Young Leaders who organized this reflective occasion and launched digital campaigns addressing the intersections of mental health, climate change, and their impact on marginalized communities.
